The Lewes Borough Bonfire Society will form up in Westgate Street (White Lion Lane) outside the YMCA for its first procession of the night due to start at 6.10pm.
The fifth procession to the fire site will start at the YMCA at approximately 9.15pm, once the members have reached the fire site the bonfire will be ignited and a grand firework finale will proceed.
During the night the Lewes Borough Bonfire Society will hold seven processions, please do not contact the Society asking for procession times as further details can be found in the Society's programme sold in various shops around Lewes and on the streets every Saturday throughout October and on the streets on the 5th November. Please buy a copy and support us as the programme is full of information about the Society and explains the History of the Plot, look out for the programme with the blue cover or sellers in blue and white jumpers, all profits go into the Society funds for next year!

Lewes is a small town which attracts a lot of visitors during the celebrations, there is limited parking available, please contact the Lewes tourist information office or Lewes District Council regarding parking. For train times please go to http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
Please also give generously to the collecting boxes - all money collected by the Lewes Borough Bonfire Society on the streets of Lewes during the celebrations are donated to the following charities: To be confirmed for 2008.
The Lewes Borough Bonfire Society charges a small entrance fee to our fire site at Landport bottom, on the downs near to the old Race Course, please see the map below for details.
